Founding story

In 2009 Ragy Thomas founded Sprinklr in New York City. The company is a provider of software that assists organizations in building meaningful experiences with customers. Its social technology provides a centralized view of each user’s experience and helps shape relationships across social channels. Specific applications include social advertising and social media marketing/monitoring.

Thomas began by funding the company himself, but was eventually able to raise over $123.5 million in financing from investors such as Intel Capital, Battery Ventures, and Iconiq Capital. It began making acquisitions of other tech firms in 2014. It now has over 1,100 employees, is valued at more than $1 billion, and has offices in 10 countries across North/South America, Europe, and Asia.
