History

Originally established as Health Dimensions Incorporated, Health Dimensions Group has become a leading healthcare consulting and management firm in the State of Minnesota. It provides consulting services to hospitals, long-term care centres, retirement communities, assisted living facilities and a whole range of healthcare institutions.

Its consulting services offers the expertise of a roster of experts in the areas of strategy, operational performance, value-based payment, care transformation and financial and reimbursement advisory. Its management services full service management, start-up assistance and turn-around management.

Founded in 2000, Health Dimensions Inc. changed its name to Health Dimensions Group when it was acquired by the Benedictine Health System, a faith-based organization and healthcare provider, in 2004.

The current CEO, Craig Abbot, has been at the firm since 2009. In 2015, Robert Hanson joined the firm as it Chief Operating Officer. Hanson had previously worked as Vice-President at Extendicare of Wisconsin. As of Hanson’s hiring, Health Dimensions had 26 care communities in its charge.

Helping client companies to plan for the future and protect the bottom line has been the core activity of Health Dimensions since its inception. The company has around 200 employees and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
