Mission

GameChanger wants to help amateur sports teams to be more efficient, informed, and connected by collecting, managing, and sharing various information and statistics on athletes and teams.

History

Ted Sullivan and Kiril Savino co-founded GameChanger and launched the app in 2010. In the fall of that same year, GameChanger collaborated with Little League, an organizer of local youth baseball leagues, to launch the Little League Scorekeeper. It is the only authorized Little League scorekeeping application.

In 2011, GameChanger partnered with the likes of MaxPreps, the Cal Ripken World Series, Perfect Game, and USA Baseball, just to name a few. Over the years, thy have acquired more partners, such as National Pro, Under Armour Association, and GymRat Challenge, just to name a few.

On May 31, 2012, the app scored the 1 millionth game. GameChanger claims to have collected the largest collection of sports data in the world, especially considering that just under 1 million professional games have been played in the big four professional leagues in the US (Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, National Football League, National Hockey League).

In January 2009, GameChanger received $250,000 in seed funding. In March 2010, the company received $200,000 in venture capital funding. In January 2011, the firm received $1.55 million in Series A funding. In March 2014, GameChanger received $6.8 million in Series B funding led by Trilogy Equity Partners.
